Dutch-Moroccan Woman Faces Terrorism Charges and Loss of Citizenship After ISIS Links

Two women with links to the terrorist group known as the Islamic State Daesh were arrested by Dutch security services upon their arrival at Amsterdam airport, following the extradition procedure initiated by the Turkish authorities.
Prosecuted for terrorism, the two women, including a 23-year-old Moroccan woman named Fatima H., had been arrested in Turkey in January 2018.
According to a statement from the Attorney General, the Moroccan woman will be deprived of Dutch nationality and repatriated to her country of origin, while her two children aged 3 and 4 will be entrusted to the social protection service.
The second defendant, aged 25, who will also be brought before the Rotterdam court next Friday, had submitted a request for assistance to the Dutch embassy in Ankara last October.
