Woman Gives Birth on Royal Air Maroc Flight from Bamako to Casablanca

A passenger gave birth to a baby girl on Thursday, February 10, 2022, on board a Bamako-Casablanca flight. The young woman gave birth upon landing of a plane at Mohammed V airport.
"Today is a special day. The Casablanca Mohammed V airport has welcomed its youngest passenger. A courageous mother, assisted by our medical team, gave birth to a beautiful little girl. Congratulations, we wish the best to the baby and the mother," tweeted the National Airports Office (ONDA).
In a statement to Le360, an ONDA official said that "the birth of this little girl took place within the airport, at 6:15 am, after the landing of the plane carrying the mother, connecting Bamako to Casablanca." "The emergency medical unit (UMU), commonly called the medical station, provided assistance to the mother, allowing the birth of this little one under the best conditions," he added.
