Morocco Reopens Borders: Agadir Airport Welcomes International Travelers and Returning Expats

Following the official reopening of borders, air traffic has resumed at Agadir Airport. The first passengers set foot on Moroccan soil, arriving from Las Palmas and France.
These passengers, including many Moroccans residing abroad, were welcomed in strict compliance with preventive health measures.
On this occasion, Mohamed Bahaj, director of Agadir Airport, stated that activities have indeed resumed in Agadir, like other national airport platforms, specifying that all arrangements have been made by all the services operating within this airport so that the arrival and departure of passengers take place smoothly and under excellent conditions.
To recall, this reopening of borders is subject to conditions, including the obligation to present the vaccination pass and the negative result of a PCR test less than 48 hours before boarding the plane for all travelers wishing to access the national territory, and the systematic performance of rapid tests for passengers upon their arrival at the airports of the Kingdom.
