Woman Dies After Routine Gallbladder Surgery, Husband Alleges Medical Negligence

A simple cholecystectomy, more precisely the removal of the gallbladder, turned into a tragedy in a private clinic in Settat. A 43-year-old woman lost her life a few hours after leaving the operating room.
For her husband, who attributes full responsibility to the negligence of the medical team, the shock is indescribable, especially since his wife did not suffer from any particular illness.
According to him, it is a serious medical error that deprives his 3 young children of their mother, he explains to Akhbarona, adding that due to his situation, he had to borrow everything to pay for the operation.
According to the statements of the resuscitation doctor, the victim suffered from epilepsy, which, according to him, could explain the deterioration of her health and her death.
An investigation has been opened by the judicial police services under the supervision of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, pending the results of the autopsy.
