Investigation Launched into Pregnant Woman’s Death at Moroccan Hospital

Following the death of a pregnant woman at the Provincial Hospital of Larache, where she was admitted for childbirth, the Ministry of Health has opened an investigation to determine the circumstances of the death.
The investigation opened, following the instructions of the Ministry, aims to define the responsibilities and establish the thesis of a medical error or negligence in the care of the victim.
She died at the Provincial Hospital of Larache, Thursday, the day before her transfer from the Local Hospital of Ksar El Kébir, for childbirth, specifies the MAP.
While presenting its sincere condolences and deep sympathy to the family of the deceased, the Ministry has decided to take urgent measures, in accordance with the conclusions of the judicial investigation and the autopsy ordered by the Attorney General of the King near the jurisdiction of Larache, reports the same source.
