Casablanca Mother Jailed for Attempted Murder After Throwing Children from Building

The mother of the 3 children thrown from the top of a building has been incarcerated in the Casablanca prison, pending her appearance before the investigating judge, for attempted voluntary manslaughter.
The medical examination ordered by the court confirmed her mental health and the absence of mental disorders. The accused has therefore been placed in pre-trial detention at the Oukacha prison by the public prosecutor’s office, pending the start of her trial, reports Akhbarona.
According to witnesses present at the time of the tragedy, the 31-year-old woman had taken advantage of her husband’s absence to commit this heinous crime, repeatedly saying in a strange way: "Good riddance!"
To recall, three children were thrown by their mother from the top of a building. While the condition of the 6 and 8 year old children is stable, according to the medical team, the situation of the 1 year old baby is more serious. He would suffer from cranial and thoracic trauma.
