Wizz Air Launches Direct London-Agadir Flights, Boosting Morocco Tourism

The Hungarian airline Wizz Air has this week inaugurated its first direct flight between London and Agadir. The first passengers were welcomed by a folk troupe from the region.
In total, 170 travelers had boarded this inaugural flight of the low-cost company with a capacity of 204 passengers.
Speaking on the occasion, Abdelmajid Bakiz, director of Agadir-Al Massira airport, said that "the airline Wizz Air will operate the London Gatwick Agadir route with 4 weekly frequencies, for a horizon of 7 weekly frequencies in 2023."
He added that "the city of Agadir will thus strengthen its integration into the British market in addition to the flights already served from Agadir airport including Manchester, London Heathrow, London Stansted, Dublin, Luton and soon Glasgow with the company Easyjet."
