Wizz Air Expands to Morocco: New Routes from London to Agadir and Marrakech

The Hungarian airline Wizz Air plans to launch two new air links from its base at London-Gatwick Airport to Morocco this fall.
Starting October 30, 2022, the low-cost Hungarian airline will connect Agadir-Al Massira to London-Gatwick Airport with four flights per week. These flights will be operated on Airbus A321neo aircraft with 239 seats. Departures are scheduled on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Wizz Air will compete with EasyJet, Ryanair and TUI Airways on this route. It will launch the same day a daily rotation between London-Gatwick and Marrakech-Menara. It will compete with the airlines British Airways, Royal Air Maroc and EasyJet, Ryanair and TUI Airways.
The low-cost airline already operates flights to Marrakech from Warsaw, Milan-Malpensa and Rome). Its planes also take off from London-Luton, Milan, Rome and Venice to land at Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca.
