Winter Storm Brings Snow and Thunderstorms to Multiple Moroccan Provinces

Several Moroccan provinces will be affected from Wednesday to Thursday, December 23 by snowfall and sometimes moderate thunderstorms, warns the General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM).
Snowfall (10-30 cm) is expected from Wednesday at 10am to Thursday at 6am in the provinces of Azilal, Beni Mellal, Taza, Guercif, Midelt and Tinghir, the DGM specifies in an orange-level weather alert bulletin.
Moderate thunderstorms (15-25 mm) will hit the cities of Kenitra, Larache, Rabat-Salé, Khemisset, Sidi Kacem and Sidi Slimane this Wednesday morning, the same source also specifies.
