Heavy Snow and Rain Alert Issued for Multiple Moroccan Provinces

Snow and sometimes stormy heavy rains are expected from this Saturday, March 5 until Monday in several Moroccan provinces.
Snow showers above 1,600 m (10 to 40 cm) will affect, from Sunday at 01:00 until Monday at 09:00, the provinces of Al Haouz, Boulemane, Ifrane, Chichaoua, Al Hoceima, Taza, Azilal, Beni Mellal, Khenifra, Tinghir, Ouarzazate and Midelt, according to the General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM) in a weather alert bulletin at the vigilance level.
The DGM also announces that heavy, sometimes stormy rains (20 to 35 mm) are expected, from Saturday at 10:00 pm until Sunday at 10:00 am, in the provinces of Skhirate-Temara, Kenitra, Rabat, Salé, Khemisset, Khenifra, Benslimane, Mohammadia, Casablanca and Mediouna.
