Heavy Rain and Snow Forecast for Multiple Moroccan Provinces Through Monday

Snow and heavy sometimes thundery rains will hit several Moroccan provinces this Sunday, March 6 and tomorrow, Monday.
Heavy sometimes thundery rains (20 to 30 mm) are expected this Sunday until 11pm in the provinces of Al Haouz, El Kelaa des Sraghna, Marrakech, Chichaoua and Azilal, according to the General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM) in a weather alert bulletin at the orange level of vigilance.
The DGM also announces that snowfall above 1,600 m (10 to 30 cm) will be recorded, from Sunday until Monday at 9am, in the provinces of Al Haouz, Boulemane, Ifrane, Chichaoua, Al Hoceima, Taza, Azilal, Béni Mellal, Khénifra, Tinghir, Ouarzazate and Midelt.
