Heavy Rain and Snowfall to Hit Multiple Moroccan Provinces Through Thursday

Heavy rains sometimes stormy and snowfall are expected from this Monday, March 14 until Thursday in several Moroccan provinces.
Heavy rains sometimes stormy (30 to 50 mm) are expected, from Tuesday at 00:00 to Wednesday at 06:00, in the provinces of Essaouira, Tiznit, Inezgane-Ait Melloul, Chtouka-Ait Baha, Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane, Taroudant, Sidi Ifni and Guelmim, the DGM specifies in a weather alert bulletin with an orange level of vigilance.
Similarly, snowfall of 30 to 70 cm will be recorded, from Monday at 12:00 to Thursday at 23:00, in the provinces of Azilal, Midelt, Ifrane, Boulemane, Taza, Sefrou, Beni-Mellal, Khenifra, Al-Haouz, Chichaoua, Taroudant, Ouarzazate and Tinghir. Snowfall of 15 to 20 cm will also be observed, Tuesday and Wednesday, in the provinces of Al Hoceima, Guercif, Figuig and Taourirt.
The DGM also announces that strong gusts of wind (80-110 km/h) will hit, this Monday from 12:00 to 23:00, in the provinces of Jerada, Taourirt, Figuig, Oujda-Angad, Midelt, Boulemane, Guercif, Errachidia and Tinghir. Tomorrow Tuesday, strong gusts of wind are also expected, from 00:00 to 18:00, in the provinces of Figuig, Jerada and Oujda-Angad.
