West Ham Eyes £30M+ Bid for Rennes Defender Nayef Aguerd

West Ham would still be interested in recruiting Moroccan international Nayef Aguerd this summer, and would be ready to make an offer to Stade Rennais.
According to L’Équipe, discussions are continuing between the two clubs for a possible transfer of the 26-year-old Moroccan central defender. Still under contract until 2025 at Rennes, the player had joined the club in 2020 from Dijon for 5 million euros.
The Bretons could demand more than 35 million euros from the Hammers for this transfer. "This would be one of the biggest sales in the club’s history with Ismaïla Sarr (Watford), Eduardo Camavinga (Real Madrid) and Ousmane Dembélé (Dortmund)," explains the newspaper.
