Wali’s Son Faces Charges for Allegedly Threatening Police Officer in Marrakech

The son of a wali would be about to appear before the judge, in Marrakech, for having offended a policeman in the exercise of his duties. He is being prosecuted at large.
The public prosecutor would have ordered that Karim Dardouri, son of Wali Mohammed Dardouri, appointed in 2018 by the king as wali in charge of the National Coordination of the National Initiative for Human Development (INDH), be brought before Judge Karim Dardouri. This is information from the media Kech24.
The same source specifies that Dardouri (Karim) was in the company of two people, in a state of intoxication (his two companions, not him, says the media), and that he threatened the policeman to have him suspended from his duties as he was leaving La Mamounia.
His words are worth the detour: "Ma araftinich chkoun ana? Gha nhayed lik lkaswa". Which means: "Don’t you know who I am? I’ll take off your uniform."
The police then rushed to the scene to arrest the three accomplices and placed them in custody. The prosecutor then decided to prosecute the wali’s son at large while his two companions are being prosecuted in custody. Because they were drunk, explains the media.
The court hearing is scheduled for June 18 and Kech24 adds something else: "Wali Dardouri rushed to Marrakech when he was informed of the facts and when he knew that the public prosecutor’s office was involved in the case, in order to try to repair the damage of his spoiled son".
