A police officer, who is performing his duties in the Urban Corps of the Anfa District, is the subject, according to a statement from the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN), of a judicial investigation conducted by the Judicial Police of the economic capital of the Kingdom, under the supervision of the competent prosecutor’s office. The story is worth the detour.
This protector of the law would have surprised an individual, his victim, "in an advanced state of intoxication", specifies the press release. And, he would have started to blackmail him, before taking his phone, as well as a sum of money. Blackmail and theft, therefore.
The case does not stop at this level. He offers the phone in question to his mistress. So, it is in her possession that the victim’s cell phone was found. An extramarital affair is then added to the list of acts he is accused of.
The police officer and his mistress were apprehended. According to the same press release, they were placed in custody, at the disposal of the investigation. The DGSN intends to shed full light on the case of this police officer, especially since two others, who are elements of the Light Rapid Intervention Brigade, are also involved in this case. But the press release does not specify the nature or the degree of their involvement.
