Rabat Police Arrest Three Suspects in Kidnapping and Armed Robbery Case

Three individuals were arrested on Wednesday, June 26, in Rabat, by the Anti-Gang Brigade of the Judicial Police Prefectural Service of the city. They are allegedly involved in a case of kidnapping, theft and threat with a knife.
According to the press release from the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN), the Rabat Police Headquarters received a complaint on Wednesday, June 26, 2019, from two people who claim to have been victims of kidnapping and theft of a sum of money and a motorcycle, by the main accused and his accomplices.
At the end of the investigations and security interventions carried out, the DGSN states that it has arrested "three suspects" and seized "four knives of different sizes", not to mention "plastic ropes, as well as a motorcycle whose legal and technical situation is being verified".
The same source specifies that the three individuals are already in custody, at the disposal of the investigation, under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office, to elucidate the circumstances of this case.
