Violent Serial Robber "Little Hammer" Arrested in Marrakech Tourist Attack

The Marrakech police have just apprehended a very violent and well-known thief whose nickname says a lot: "Mtirika" (little hammer). Kech24, the source of this information, specifies that he was arrested in the act.

Indeed, according to this media, Mtirika was in the process of stripping a young girl of her belongings, threatening her with a bladed weapon. This dangerous criminal would have been arrested in Sidi Youssef Ben Ali, at the very moment of his crime.

However, the same source specifies that he was active in several popular neighborhoods of the city, that several arrest warrants were pending against him for theft under threat of blows and injuries with a bladed weapon, and that among his victims were foreign tourists. He would have been very active during the month of Ramadan.

Mtirika was placed in custody but he would also have an accomplice, whom the police are still looking for, according to Kech24 who cites its own sources.
