Violent Drug Cartel Clashes Erupt in Morocco’s Nador Region

The coasts of Temsamane, Nador and Driouch were, on Tuesday, the scene of violent clashes between drug barons. During this violent confrontation, the drug cartels piloted by the traffickers nicknamed "Fouloulou", "Naciri" and "Jebli", used bladed weapons and firearms.
We could think we are in the Wild West. Drug cartels engaged in a merciless war in the Nador region, using bladed weapons and firearms in violent clashes. The cause of the war would be linked to a question of theft, competition and territory management. According to sources from the daily Assabah, the cartels led by "Fouloulou", "Naciri" and "Jebli" fled to escape the intervention of the auxiliary forces before being caught in a trap set by other traffickers. This led to clashes between the two gangs. The confrontation ended with the defeat of the cartels led by "Fouloulou", "Naciri" and "Jebli", who lost 100 lots of hashish.
Other gun battles had taken place between members of cocaine trafficking gangs with ramifications with international networks, on the road connecting the commune of Amjaw to that of Temsamane, in the Driouch area. At the heart of these pitched battles, the eternal management of territories, theft. These drug trafficking networks circulate in the region on board vehicles bearing false registration plates. They prefer the rural environment and remote areas, to escape the interventions of the security forces and the elements of the Royal Gendarmerie.
