Violent Clashes After Moroccan Football Match Lead to 13 Arrests, Multiple Injuries

The post-match violence FAR-RCA resulted in 13 arrests and dozens of injuries among law enforcement and hooligans.
According to the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN), these arrested persons were placed in custody for their alleged involvement in acts of vandalism and destruction of public and private property, possession of bladed weapons and flares, and violence against public officials, shortly after the end of the match.
In addition to the 22 injured hooligans, some law enforcement elements, including 3 police officers and 2 firefighters, were also victims of minor injuries.
According to the same source, these disturbances that occurred after the end of the match, outside the Moulay Abdellah Complex in Rabat, also caused significant material damage. In total, 19 security vehicles, a civil protection truck, an ambulance and 6 private cars were damaged.
Furthermore, the police investigations are continuing to identify all the individuals involved in these acts of vandalism.
