Vigilante Justice in Detroit: Mob Beats Alleged Machete-Wielding Thief

Citing eyewitnesses to the scene, the Arabic-language newspaper Alyaoum24 reports that, having seen the two suspects armed with a machete threatening a passer-by, a group of young people from the Al Balia neighborhood intervened spontaneously to help him.

In the process, these young people managed to arrest Mio, the name of one of the two thieves, aged 21. He was systematically beaten. Later, the young people called the police.

The police officers transferred the thief to the police station for questioning and to identify his accomplice who, in the meantime, had managed to escape.

The resurgence of these acts of aggression and characterized violence, which occur in broad daylight, for some time now, in the major cities of the Kingdom, must alert the authorities at the highest level, estimates the same source.
