Serial Mosque Thief Arrested in Beni Mellal, Morocco

The "mosque thief" was finally apprehended on Thursday, November 8 by the elements of the Royal Gendarmerie of Sidi Jaber in the province of Béni Mellal.
Involved in several thefts around the mosques in the region, the suspect was arrested along with an accomplice.
According to Alyaoum24, the defendant stole phones, money and belongings that the worshippers left in their cars parked near the mosques during the Friday prayer.
According to the same media, the "mosque thief" used a rental vehicle to move from village to village. He would then break the windows of the worshippers before taking possession of all their personal belongings.
It should be noted that the Royal Gendarmerie had been seized, on several occasions, of complaints from many worshippers before arresting the defendant.
