Urgent Search for Family of Moroccan Man Who Died in German Prison

A young man, who would be of Moroccan origin, recently died in a prison in Cologne, Germany. His remains risk being cremated if no family member comes forward.
For the return of the remains, the German authorities are unable to contact the deceased’s relatives, as he had declared a false identity during his incarceration.
Several associations to help foreigners have called for the photo of the deceased to be shared as widely as possible, in order to find his family and allow him to be buried among his own according to the Muslim rite.
