Ugandan Soccer Star Missing: Wydad Defender Vanishes After International Duty

The Ugandan central defender of Wydad de Casablanca, Murshid Juuko, is still missing. He has not given any sign of life for a month.
The Ugandan international left his club to play in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers with his national team (0-0 draw against Burkina Faso on November 13, and 2-0 win over Malawi on November 17).
Since the last international break in November, the 25-year-old player has still not reported to the Mohamed Benjelloun complex, reports Le360.
On his way out at the Reds, the club management is waiting for his return to negotiate the termination of his contract, the same source specifies.
Transferred last August to the reigning Moroccan champions, Murshid Juuko has not made any appearances since the start of the season.
