Moroccan Striker Khalid Boutaib Released by Egypt’s Zamalek After Disappointing Season

Unconvincing this season, Moroccan international Khalid Boutaib is leaving the Egyptian first division club Zamalek.
The Atlas Lion, Khalid Boutaib, did not convince the club despite the many matches he has played since his arrival last July.
Recruited a year ago from Malatyaspor, the Moroccan has disappointed at Zamalek. He scored 5 goals in 21 games, according to the Egyptian press. In addition to his mediocre performances, his repeated injuries are blamed. This poor performance has cost him his place in the Zamalek squad.
The same source specifies that the club’s management will soon meet with the player and his agent to discuss the terms of the contract termination and officially announce this divorce.
Boutaib will therefore be without a club, as he is no longer part of the plans of the new coach of the Cairo club, Patrice Carteron.
