Beyond tourism, the partnership between the two countries extends to critical infrastructure. A consortium notably involving TAQA Morocco and the Mohammed VI Fund signed 14-billion-dollar agreements for energy and water projects in May 2024. This Emirati momentum supports Morocco’s strategy to modernize national infrastructure ahead of the joint hosting of the 2030 World Cup alongside Spain and Portugal.
