Turkish Club Besiktas Eyes Chelsea’s Ziyech After PSG Transfer Collapse

The failure of the transfer of Moroccan international Hakim Ziyech to Paris Saint-Germain has been making headlines on Wednesday. While the player thinks he is doomed to stay with the Blues, an opportunity to leave presents itself to him.
Even though the winter transfer window has closed in Europe, this is not the case in Turkey where the transfer window remains open until February 8. This is what justifies the interest of Istanbul’s Besiktas for Hakim Ziyech who will not forget his failed transfer to PSG anytime soon, reports Onze mondial.
According to information from Turkish journalist Gökmen Özcan, Besiktas would like to recruit the former Ajax player. Good news for the Moroccan midfielder who no longer sees himself staying at Chelsea. Not only was he rarely fielded during the club’s matches, but his rare appearances are the subject of criticism from the London club’s supporters.
On Wednesday, the last day of the winter transfer window, Hakim Ziyech saw himself already at PSG with his friend and teammate Achraf Hakimi. He had even undergone the medical examinations and was supposed to join the Parisian club on loan. But at the last minute, everything fell through. Chelsea is said to have sent the wrong document three times, preventing PSG from registering the operation in the allotted time. At Chelsea they blame a computer bug but for Paris and Ziyech, it’s a deliberate act.
