Turkey’s Erdogan Extends Invitation to Morocco’s King Mohammed VI, Strengthening Diplomatic Ties

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has invited King Mohammed VI to visit Turkey. This invitation was made by Vice President Fuat Oktay during a telephone call with Head of Government Aziz Akhannouch.
During this call that took place on Monday, the Turkish official highlighted the historical ties between Morocco and Turkey. "During the call, opportunities were assessed in several areas, including the economy, trade, education and defense," Fuat Oktay, whose remarks were reported by the Anadolu agency, said.
For his part, the Moroccan Head of Government, Aziz Akhannouch, mentioned the friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries, noting that the Moroccan ministers concerned will travel to Turkey as soon as possible to assess the opportunities and agreements in the areas of investment and the economy.
