Morocco’s King Mohammed VI Offers Condolences to Turkey After Deadly Earthquake

A few hours after the earthquake that killed hundreds in Turkey, King Mohammed VI expressed his condolences to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
In his message, the King states that he learned with deep emotion and profound grief the news of the violent earthquake that struck the southeastern regions of Turkey, causing many victims and injuries and causing significant material damage.
The Sovereign says he shares the feelings of sadness felt by the Turkish President in this painful ordeal, the will of God being implacable, expressing the active solidarity of the Kingdom of Morocco which stands by the brotherly Turkish people in this painful circumstance, imploring the Almighty to grant a speedy recovery to the injured, to surround the victims with His Holy mercy and to welcome them in His vast paradise, and to spare Turkey and the Turkish people from all misfortune.
