Turkey Eliminates Morocco 4-1 in Amputee Football World Cup Quarter-Finals

The adventure ends in the quarter-finals for Fouad Assou’s protégés. They were eliminated on Thursday evening by Turkey, the host country of the Amputee Football World Cup.
It was 4-1 that Turkey defeated Morocco in the quarter-final match of the Amputee Football World Cup which took place at the TFF Riva stadium in Istanbul. The Turks took the lead as early as the tenth minute of play by opening the scoring thanks to Rahmi Özcan.
His teammate Ömer Güleryüz doubled the lead in the 28th minute, followed by a third goal from Kemal Güleş in the 33rd minute. The only Moroccan goal came 13 minutes later thanks to Ilias Al Sebai, before Turkey definitively sealed the match with a fourth goal scored by Kemal Güleş, who thus scored his second goal of the match.
Morocco exits the competition at the gates of the semi-finals and still leaves the memory of a very good performance for a first participation. For their first match, the Moroccan players recorded an overwhelming victory (6-0) against Ireland. They will be beaten by Brazil (0-2), before doing the bare minimum against Iran (0-0), but manage to qualify for the round of 16. Morocco qualifies for the quarter-finals by defeating Argentina (4-0).
