Another feat for the Moroccan amputee football team. After their defeat against Brazil, the Moroccan players bounced back against Argentina (4-1), securing their ticket for the quarter-finals of the World Cup in this category.
The match took place this Wednesday, October 5 at the TFF Riva Facility in Istanbul (Turkey). The goals were scored by Mohcine Chghagh (15th and 43rd minute) and Iliass Sbii (26th and 47th minute). The Atlas Lions will know their opponent for the quarter-finals after the match between Turkey and Mexico.
It is a great performance for Fouad Assou’s men, who are strongly marking their first participation in this competition.
