Morocco Dominates Ireland 6-0 in Amputee Football World Cup Debut

For its first match at the Amputee Football World Cup, Morocco beat Ireland (6-0) at the "TFF Riva" stadium in Istanbul. A very good start for the national team, which intends to go far in this competition taking place from September 30 to October 9, with the participation of 24 teams.
Morocco was very offensive, scoring the first goal in the 5th minute by Salah Eddine Hassani. Things quickly unfolded, allowing Ilias Al Sebai to score the 2nd and 3rd goals. While Ireland was just recovering from these goals scored in record time, Al Moden and Ilias Al Sabai added two more goals. Salah Eddine Hassani further increased the score by scoring the 6th goal in the final minutes of the match.
At the end of the match, the coach of the national team, Fouad Assou, was pleased with the result, the fruit of the performance and commitment of his players. However, he specifies that "despite the victory and the good performance of the team, it is a bit early to talk about a positive result. We have to wait until we qualify for the second round." He remains convinced, however, that "Morocco will go far in this adventure."
For his part, the president of the Royal Moroccan Federation of Sports for Persons with Disabilities (FRMSPSH), Hamid El Aouni, believes that the performance of the Moroccan players against their Irish counterparts "shows the strength of this team." It is "the result of the preparations of the various members of the national team," he stressed.
The national team faces Brazil this Sunday for its second match. Morocco with its 15 players is ranked in group D with Brazil, Iran and Ireland.
