Tunisia Imposes Quarantine on Moroccan Travelers Amid Covid-19 Restrictions

The Tunisian Observatory of Emerging and New Diseases has updated lists of countries in distinct color zones (green and orange) according to the severity of the spread of the coronavirus. Morocco is in orange!
The "green zone" designates the countries whose nationals can come to Tunisia without restrictions. However, they must fill out an electronic form and undergo preventive procedures, including taking body temperature and answering certain questions related to health status. France and Belgium are on this list.
The countries where the prevalence of the epidemic is moderate are classified in the "orange zone". Morocco is one of them. Thus, Moroccan and other concerned travelers must provide an RT-PCR laboratory test through a nasal sample, and will be subject to home self-isolation for a period of 14 days without recourse to another procedure, except in case of appearance of covid-19 symptoms on the person concerned.
As for travelers from countries classified in the "red zone", "no tourist will be accepted", Habib Ghedira, member of the scientific committee to fight against coronavirus, firmly states.
