Morocco Requires Negative COVID-19 Test for Returning Expats and Travelers

This is a strong measure that has just been decided by the Moroccan authorities. With a view to the return of MREs during the next summer holidays, they are required to have a negative covid-19 test. If this is not the case, they will not be able to board.
Travelers "must be in possession of proof of a negative COVID19 test which will be required at the time of boarding," it is written in the summary document of a recent videoconference organized by the Ministry of Transport.
This test is apparently mandatory given the wording used. Upon arrival in Morocco, the health authorities may decide on a new test to be carried out on national territory. Thus, passengers "may be subject to a health examination to prevent the spread of COVID-19," it is specified in the document.
Also, a traveler may be refused if he has symptoms of covid-19, it is also read. "persons showing symptoms of COVID-19 will not be allowed to board the ship;"
Upon the MRE’s return to his country of residence, the authorities of the country may also decide on a new covid-19 test.
