Tunisia Keeps Morocco on ’Orange’ Travel List Amid Rising COVID-19 Cases

The update of the list of countries authorized to set foot on Tunisian soil has been effective since Wednesday, July 22. Morocco is still on the orange list due to its epidemiological situation.
With 18,264 cases of infection, 236 new recoveries and 292 deaths, Morocco has not yet passed the threshold of countries classified as green in Tunisia. The Kingdom is on the orange list, which includes 44 countries, including Canada, Austria, the Czech Republic, Portugal, Senegal, Poland and Turkey.
Consequently, its tourists will have to go to Tunisia by presenting proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test, carried out no later than 72 hours before the date of departure. They must also wear a mask and respect the social distancing measure.
For now, Tunisia is reopening its borders without these health security measures to the 79 countries classified in the green category, including France, the United Kingdom, Spain, Germany, Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands, Korea, China...
Considered one of the African countries least affected by Covid-19, Tunisia has recorded a total of 1,394 people infected with Covid-19 since the appearance of the first case, including 1,108 recoveries and 50 deaths.
