Tricycles Cause Disorder in Marrakech

Generally used for the transport of goods, tricycles are increasingly dedicated to the transport of Marrakechis and even foreign tourists, endangering the lives of these people.

The inhabitants of the ochre city have expressed their indignation at the proliferation of these vehicles which, according to them, are the cause of several road accidents, explains the local site kech24. They particularly blame the owners of these vehicles for their recklessness at the wheel.

The owners of these vehicles continue to ignore the authorities’ ban on transporting passengers. Some have completely switched to this type of transport, equipping their vehicles with covers and seats to provide a minimum of comfort to their clients.

The phenomenon is spreading in several neighborhoods of the city, which worries the Marrakechis who denounce the laxity of the authorities in the face of this situation that creates road insecurity, the owners of tricycles not being sanctioned after committing traffic offenses.
