Trial Begins for Associates in French CEO Sex Trafficking Case

The trial opened before the criminal chamber of Tangier to try the eight people involved in Morocco in the Jacques Bouthier case, the former CEO of the Assu 2000 group, continues. Since early March, eight people, including two women, have been appearing.
Starting this Tuesday, April 25, 2023, it is time to examine the case. But not all the accused appear at the trial. One of them is deceased, while some have fled just after the start of the investigation, reports Le Parisien. Jacques Bouthier himself is not directly targeted. Arrested and indicted in Paris for "human trafficking" and "rape of minors", he obtained conditional release against the payment of a bail set at 500,000 euros.
Wandering hands, especially on the breasts, buttocks, telephone calls on their direct line and on their cell phone, intrusive questions from two supervisors, acting as recruiters, bombarding them with questions, especially about their sexual preferences... The victims are demanding justice.
In Morocco, several complaints have been filed with the Attorney General in Tangier against Jacques Bouthier and his close associates Amir M. and Yassine B. The latter has been in pre-trial detention for nearly nine months for "not having reacted after Samira complained about the CEO’s behavior."
