Tragic Playground Death in Agadir Leads to Demolition of Illegal Play Area

The tragedy that struck the upscale Agadir Bay neighborhood has prompted an immediate reaction from the local authorities.
An illegal play area, belonging to a renowned cafe in the city, was dismantled this Friday, August 30, 2024, following the tragic death of a child whose parents are Moroccans residing abroad.
According to the initial elements of the investigation, the young boy would have suffered a violent shock to the head after a fall on an iron bar. The emergency services, who arrived quickly on the scene, were unfortunately unable to save him.
The exact causes of the tragedy are the subject of a thorough investigation by the local authorities.
Following this accident, the authorities quickly decided to dismantle the play area. Many videos and photos of the demolition have been published on social media.
