Moroccan-Dutch Man Found Dead in Tangier Apartment, Police Suspect Foul Play

The lifeless body of a Dutch national of Moroccan origin was found in an apartment in the Al Irfane neighborhood of Tangier. The particularly disturbing circumstances of this death have caused great emotion and triggered a police investigation.
According to the first information gathered from local sources, the victim, a man in his forties, showed signs of violence. His face was hidden under a plastic bag, leaving doubt about the exact causes of his death. These disturbing elements led the authorities to favor the criminal track.
Alerted during the night, the police services quickly went to the scene of the tragedy. The investigators proceeded with the initial findings and collected evidence. The victim’s body was transported to the morgue for a forensic autopsy.
At this stage, no track is favored by the investigators who are moving in several directions. A premeditated murder, a settling of scores or an act of violence related to a personal dispute are among the hypotheses considered.
