A tragedy occurred in the Al Hoceima region of Morocco. A four-year-old child lost his life after falling into a well.
The accident occurred in one of the hamlets of the Bni Gmil region. The child’s family tried to transport him to the hospital to provide first aid, but he could not be saved, reports the local site Nadorcity.
This new tragedy recalls the tragedy of Rayan, a five-year-old boy who died in February 2022 after falling into a 32-meter deep well near Chefchaouen. His story had moved the whole world and highlighted the danger posed by the many unsecured wells and boreholes in rural Moroccan areas.
