Tourists’ Bag Snatching Foiled by Bystanders in Marrakech’s Old Medina

According to witnesses on the spot, two thugs tried to snatch the bag of a French woman who was walking with her companion on Rue de Derb Dabachi, near Djamàa El fna square in the ochre city.

The thugs did not have enough time to commit their theft because passersby intervened.

Alerted, the police went to the scene but failed to catch the two individuals. It is continuing its search and investigation to arrest them.
