The Association of Cultural and Economic Days of Tunisia in Toulouse (JCETT) has invited the community on Friday for the celebration of Eid Al-Fitr at the Théâtre des Mazades, this Friday, April 21 at 9:30 pm. The Attarab group will give a show there. It will revisit the little-known repertoire of classical Arab-Oriental music, more precisely the musical repertoires from different Arab countries: Tunisia, Algeria, Egypt, Morocco, Syria, Lebanon and various styles and modes ranging from the very ancient Muwashshahat to the sumptuous repertoires of the greatest figures of Arab music: Sayyid Darwish, Mohamed Abdelwahab, Riadh Sonbati, Oum Kalthoum, Fairouz, Ali Riahi, AbdelWahhab Doukkali, Abdelhadi Belkhiat, etc, reports La Dépêche du Midi.
Based on scientific data, the Muslim Theological Council of France (CTMF) and the French Council of the Muslim Faith (CFCM) chaired by the Union of Mosques of France (UMF) and the Coordination Committee of Turkish Muslims of France (CCMTF) each announced that Eid Al-Fitr will be celebrated this year on Friday, April 21.
