Total Eren to Invest $10 Billion in Massive Green Hydrogen Project in Morocco

Total Eren, the renewable energy subsidiary of Total Energies, has decided to launch a mega green hydrogen and ammonia project in Guelmim-Oued Noun, with an investment cost of 100 billion dirhams. This will make Morocco a leader in the global green hydrogen ecosystem.
Total Eren wants to invest 100 billion dirhams in the realization of a 10 GW hybrid project for the production of green hydrogen and ammonia, mainly coupled with wind turbines, reports the Agence Ecofin. An investment approved by the Unified Regional Investment Commission on November 25. Preparatory work has already begun.
