Togolese Man Arrested in Morocco on French Sexual Assault Warrant

The police at Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca arrested a Togolese national who was the subject of an international arrest warrant.
Issued by the French judicial authorities, this warrant aims to apprehend the individual for alleged sexual assaults committed in Marseille in 2017.
The arrest, which took place on Tuesday, November 12, is the result of close cooperation between Moroccan security services and Interpol.
The Directorate General of National Security (DGSN) confirmed the information in a press release, stressing the importance of international cooperation in the fight against crime.
