Kuwaiti Fugitive Businessman Arrested at Casablanca Airport

Wanted by his country for several criminal cases, a Kuwaiti businessman has just been arrested in Morocco.
The Kuwaiti criminal was arrested on Wednesday at the Mohammed V airport in Casablanca after the elements of the national security discovered that he was the subject of an international arrest warrant issued by the judicial authorities of his country for "several criminal cases, including financial and real estate crimes," reports Assabah.
The defendant, "Othman M, a Kuwaiti businessman," had fled Kuwait to escape justice. "Kuwait has used many means internationally to search for him and proceed with his arrest, in vain," it is specified.
After his arrest, the accused was placed in detention. The Kuwaiti judicial authorities have been informed of his apprehension. The extradition procedure will be initiated after receipt of his judicial file and the extradition request from Kuwait.
A few days ago, a 43-year-old Franco-Tunisian, who was the subject of an international arrest warrant issued by the French judicial authorities for his alleged involvement in an international drug trafficking case, was also arrested in Marrakech.
