Teenage Moroccan Soccer Player Dies in Spanish Road Accident

In Spain, a young Moroccan player died at the age of 16 following a tragic accident.
The Spanish club CF Base Roses announced the sad news on X (ex-Twitter) on Monday: "We start the year in the worst possible way, mourning the loss of our young player Oussama El Asri in a road accident on the 31st in the company of Sergio and David Castilla."
On Sunday, the 16-year-old player was the victim of a tragic accident in Palau-Saverdera, Catalonia (Spain). His friend, David Castilla, a 16-year-old player from the CF Peralada team, as well as the latter’s 46-year-old father, who was driving the car, also died. El Asri lived in Roses, while the other two victims resided in Vilajuiga.
The Spanish club CF Base Roses expressed its support and sympathy to the families and friends of the victims of this tragic accident.
