Mehdi Dghoughi died overnight at the age of 28, victim of a road accident. His brother Amine announced the sad news on Facebook.
A pure product of Wydad Athletic Club, where he climbed the ranks, Mehdi Dghoughi wore the first team colors before being loaned to Raja Beni Mellal.
His career then took him to Association Salé, Racing de Casablanca, Jeunes de l’Atlas Khénifra, Qasbat Tadla and Youssoufia Berrechid. Last season, he had joined Tihad Athletic Sport (TAS).
The details of the accident remain unknown for the moment.
