Moroccan Youth Soccer Player Dies in Motorcycle Accident

Sad news for Wydad Tanger. The football club has just lost one of its young players, Mohamed Bakkali, who died from injuries sustained in a serious road accident.
The accident occurred on Friday night. The 15-year-old player, who was on a motorcycle with another person, hit the wall of a tunnel. Seriously injured, the two victims were taken to the hospital in Tangier where they were admitted to the emergency room. Unfortunately, Mohamed Bakkali succumbed to his injuries.
The announcement of his sudden death has caused great emotion and deep sadness among members of his family and his club. "Today, we have lost one of our faithful children, Mohamed Bakkali, who has left an indelible mark on our hearts. We ask God to grant him His mercy and to give patience to his family and friends," said Wydad Tanger in a statement published on its official page.
The sports circles of the city have also expressed their sadness at the loss of this young talent. They also called on the authorities to strengthen awareness of road safety in order to prevent such tragedies in the future.
