Tragic Loss: 21-Year-Old Moroccan Footballer Dies in Spanish Road Accident

Mohamed Idil, a 21-year-old player who has been playing for CF Vilafranca for two years, died Tuesday in a road accident that occurred between Calonge and S’Alqueria Blanca as he was going to work.
The death of the young player of Moroccan origin has shocked the football world of the Balearic Islands. Mohamed Idil, nicknamed "Camorro", was a talented player highly appreciated by his teammates on and off the field. He had become one of the key pieces of the Vilafranca system and contributed to its entry into the Primera Regional, reports 20minutos.
"He was an incredible person, one of those we need in the locker room. We love him a lot..." said Vilafranca coach Sergi Caldentey. "I will wait forever for you to answer my last message. My Camorro! Fly high, little one..." the coach wrote on his social media, announcing the suspension of all training sessions and the weekend’s match.
