Moroccan Father of Four Dies in Spanish Road Accident

The tragic road accident that occurred on Friday claimed the life of Homad Zgani, of Moroccan origin who resided in Tudela, in northern Spain.
Originally from Taourirt, Homad, 36, leaves behind a father still living in his hometown, while his mother passed away a few years ago. He had three brothers, two living in Spain (one in the Balearic Islands and the other in Huelva) and one in France.
Homad, employed in the agricultural sector, was married to a Spaniard from Vitoria. He was the father of four children, three daughters and a son, aged 3 to 10 years old. Homad’s family, still in shock, said he had lived in the Navarre region for about three years, although he had previously resided in various regions of Spain, a country he had joined at a very young age. His relatives described Homad as a deeply religious man, very involved with his children and a hard worker.
The tragedy occurred as Homad was on his way to work on a farm. He lost control of his vehicle on a path, causing it to roll over several times. The accident occurred around 10:13 a.m. in the El faldón area, on a track connecting Castejón to Tudela, parallel to the railway line. The loss of control occurred near kilometer 87.5 of the railway line.
Emergency services, including the SOS Navarra 112 management center, dispatched a medical team from Castejón and municipal police patrols to the scene. Unfortunately, the rescue workers could only confirm Homad’s death.
