Teen Girl Arrested in Fatal Stabbing of Moroccan University Student

Based on information provided by the services of the Directorate General of Territorial Surveillance (DGST), the prefectural service of the judicial police of the city of Tangier, in coordination with that of Tetouan, succeeded on Monday in arresting the alleged murderer of Anouar, the 20-year-old student, found dead in his apartment in the Mesnana district.

The alleged murderer of Anouar Othmani, a 4th year student at the Faculty of Science and Technology in Tangier, is a 17-year-old girl. She is suspected of assault and battery with a bladed weapon resulting in death. Her alleged accomplice, a member of her family, has also been arrested and placed in custody. He is suspected of failing to report a crime and concealing the murder weapon.
